Overall!

This is my last blog :( how sad. The trip overall was fantastic! It was not the ordinary relaxing spring break trip that one tends to look forward to. It was a different kind of fun. I got to see tons of awesome places that most people don’t get to see over the span of five years, and here I got to see them in ten days.

Recap:

Chicago-Fun but it was my worst of all the days because I didn’t get to experience the city quite as much, BUT I got a story out of the way and it was my only chance to get Dunkin Donuts!

New York- Duh- it was fun. My feet were tired by the end of the day, but that’s a good thing. It means I got a lot accomplished. I was able to get some good sunglasses and I saw WICKED. It was with out a doubt the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life… well… it’s up there!

D.C.- It was the hungriest I’ve ever been! We all sacrificed a dinner in order to see the monuments- it was worth it though, they were great and we ended up ordering pizza and Lauren got hung up on by the pizza guy because her hick accent was so bad!

Virgina Beach- Our hotel was literally right on the beach. I got some good ole shopping in. AND everyone got attacked by seaguls! We saw the sun rise, some people were reluctant to see it, but it was beautiful.

Charolette- I didn’t go see NASCAR but I did some reading on the bus. Man I sound like a dork. And I got to watch Fran and Sarah’s “from the bus” on how bad NASCAR is.

Nashville- BILLY CURRINGTON. RODNEY ATKINS. NEED I SAY MORE!?!?!!?!?!?!….

that’s all folks.

p.s. I love your Rodney. You too Billy- but Rodney and I just have that special connection- you’ll understand right?

Day Nine- Nashville

Fran and Mehl may have had the best sandwich of their life. But I had the best steak, Tonight in Nashville we went to this restaurant called Demos, It specialized in steak and spaghetti. I know- it sounds crazy, but it was really good. Who would chose to have a restaurant that specializes in that but the combination was good.

First off they had amazing tea. SWEET tea- THANK GOODNESS TO BE BACK IN SWEET TEA LAND. But this sweet tea was not how I’ve ever seen it! It was unsweet tea with sugar water on the side to make the tea as sweet as you liked it :) it was amazing! THE BREAD. It was hot- homemade bread and our waiter gave us samples of all the spaghetti sauces (no one else got them!! heheheheehe) then after we ate the glorious bread we got our steak and spaghetti! OMGOODNESS. soooo good.. It was the best steak of my life!!! And it was only 15 dollars for everything (and for a huge steak and spaghetti that’s cheap)!

I’m really tired and kinda homesick- but I’m not ready for reality because I’ve got a paper due MONDAY and tons of homework-and I’m pretty sure my senioritis will kick in when we get back to school- oh no!

Day 8!

Today was fun, we got up and were supplied yummy Kreme Krispy s! Then we got on the bus to go to Charlotte North Carolina. When we got here a couple of us went to the mall which was fun. Others went down town. Lauren and I had a story to do today so we did it on this lacrosse team that is staying in our hotel. And we’ll just capture/edit everything tomorrow on our bus ride to Nashville! I’m tired, I’m having a blast but I’m ready for my own bed. Kendra is not here with us tonight, so Lauren went into her room and slept it one of those beds, so me sarah fran and mehl have our room all to ourselves. It’s good because three would not work on this hotel because the bed are TINY~ that’s all for today!!

Day Seven- Virginia Beach

Today was a great day.

First we got up pretty early to go to VB then when we got there, we went shopping! It was too cold to play on the beach, all though Michael jumped in! So crazy! I didn’t have a story today so Mehl and I got to relax. We shopped for a while with everyone then when we went back to the hotel Fran Lo and I went to some of the surf shops around the beach, a ton of them were closed because it wasn’t in season.

Tonight’s dinner was awesome. All you can eat SEA FOOD BUFFET. sounds gross, but everything was so good. We all were stuffed!!! I think everyone probably at twenty pounds of crab legs all together. yum yum.

such a good day :)
